I fell in love with Sheryl Crow's Hollywood home that was featured in this month's Architectural Digest. As you may know by now, I'm a SoCal girl at heart. Growing up there has made me a total sucker for anything Spanish influenced and I am eternally drawn to the laid back, casual living. Sheryl's home is equal parts tailored, comfortable, eclectic and cool...the type of pad you would expect a rockstar to reside in. On another note, how excited were you all with the refreshing updates that new editor in chief Margaret Russell has made to AD? I loved this issue and can't wait to see more!

Again and again, I see a room with lots of contrast, like these, and love them. Especially with a hit of color from fresh flowers.
ReplyDeleteI rarely like the style of homes that you see owned by big Hollywood, or in this case music, names, but this is an exception. The interiors really show some personality and warmth and even quirkiness. It's also nice to see a house in AD now that doesn't look like a hotel from the 1980s. Kudos to Ms. Russell.
