A Place to Dine
As you know, we moved into a new, smaller apartment about a month ago. I have been trying to get creative with the spatial layout. Most areas need to serve multiple functions. I decided to split the office from the dining area by putting a small round table and two chairs in one corner instead of using the desk as a dining table. Becky and I are hitting up some stores on Friday to search for the right one...preferably vintage. The following are two I have seen recently in magazines, and I am using these as inspiration for our shopping trip...

I love the first image from Rue. I have to split our dining area into two spaces too... it gets pretty tricky but I love your idea of using a round table. Can't wait to see what you end up finding!

ReplyDeleteHi Amanda! How cool that you moved to a smaller place -- it's fun to have that challenge in cozy place, isn't it? I love round tables and recently put a thrifted one into our dining room - a downsize from our former place. I'll be excited to see what you find. Both of these have such delicate lines.

We might not have found the table... but we did pretty well!!
