Cozy Cottage

I had lunch with Catherine of Rikshaw the other day and we were both gushing over how much we loved Tia Zoldan's home as featured in the premier issue of High Gloss Magazine. Tia's house was in Cottage Living ages ago, and it is one of the first interiors I ever really fell head over heels for. It's most recent incarnation is even better than the first. It is eclectic yet polished and I love how she layered various patterns, textures and finishes. It feels very tailored yet comfortable. Enjoy!

So Cute!

I have been pulling tons of nursery inspiration images in preparation for designing one of my own. I don't know if it is a girl or boy yet, so I have been collecting everything. One of my favorite girl's rooms that I have come across is one designed by Caitlin Wilson for her daughter Olivia. I love the lavender and lime palette, and I'm obsessed with the trim on the lamp shade and bedskirt. Oh, and she has the Rikshaw bedding and elephant pillow that I adore. So cute!

Coveting the Coveteur

I have seen countless "blog crush" posts in the past month about the new blog The Coveteur. I am happy to report that I will be jumping on that bandwagon too! There is nothing more exciting than getting a sneak peak into the closet of someone you admire or aspire to be like, and The Coveteur gives you just that. The eye candy is just endless. If you haven't added this one to your list of daily's yet, do it now. You won't regret it! Here is a tiny sampling of Mary Kate Steinmiller's closet...

Cheers!

Diane von Furstenberg has come out with a home collection that covers tabletop and bedding. My favorite items in the collection are these gorgeous blue etched glasses. They would add some great color and texture to any table.

Ladylike Alexa

I came across these gorgeous shots of Alexa Chung in the Net-a-porter Magazine. I love her style. She always manages to look ladylike but with an edge. I would like of each of these outfits, please...

Take Me Away...

...to Peacock Pavilions in Marrakesh. I have been following Maryam on twitter and via her blog for sometime as they have been renovating and re-decorating her boutique hotel Peacock Pavilions. She recently gave a sneak peak of the work they have done thus far on her blog and I am enamored with this charming place. There isn't much more to say other than book my tickets and make a reservation...

Hollywood Hangout

I fell in love with Sheryl Crow's Hollywood home that was featured in this month's Architectural Digest. As you may know by now, I'm a SoCal girl at heart. Growing up there has made me a total sucker for anything Spanish influenced and I am eternally drawn to the laid back, casual living. Sheryl's home is equal parts tailored, comfortable, eclectic and cool...the type of pad you would expect a rockstar to reside in. On another note, how excited were you all with the refreshing updates that new editor in chief Margaret Russell has made to AD? I loved this issue and can't wait to see more!
